Continuing the tradition: more than just a slogan, this is a way of life for Sylvie, the owner of this new establishment. This Lyonnaise intends to pass on the cooking and cultural traditions of her region.
It’s without any surprise that we discover this typically decorated restaurant, that can receive 66 guests. The walls are decorated with traditional "Guignols" dolls and enamelled plaques. The wooden chairs and marble tables emphasise the friendly atmosphere of this old-fashioned "bouchon". Around the kitchen, Jean-Claude Jambon conjures plates worthy of the best Lyon cookers. From "Tablier de Sapeur" (breaded tripe) to "Gateau de Foie de Volaille" (chicken liver cake), not forgetting the charcuterie "of Chez Bobosse", all the great classics can be found here. A lover of Beaujolais, Sylvie strives to suggest Crozes Hermitage, Macon Villages and other Cotes-du-Rhones, all which come directly from local producers. Always keen to bring you a taste of Lyonnais hospitality, she invites you to try out these Lyonnais "machons" from 9.30 to 11:00 AM (reservation required). A real spot for food lovers, right on the "Presqu’île".
